Default Re-Torqueing Headbolts

As you can see with my other post, i am looking to change up my setup a bit by changing out my cams. While i have the rockers off, i was thinking about re-torquing the headbolts. Some people had said they were going to do that as a preventative meaure to cut down on the posibility of HG failure.

I am just wondering what you would need to do to retorque the bolts? Do you need to actually remove the bolts, or just set your torque wrench to a certain setting... Considering that the helms says to use 3 90 degree turns as a final spec for the head (with new bolts), it would seem kinda hard to get an actualy torque setting? I mean, other people, well respected in the s2ki community say that a retorquing of the headbolts is not needed.
So i guess, anyone who has retorqued the head, any pointers would be appreciated. This is also with a 3mm headgasket.
