Default head studs

What is the maximum torque that people have applied to their ARP studs? Please specify usage conditions(track/street).

I am asking because I am experimenting with thinner HG's for competition and would like to ensure a better seal.

stock bolts use way more torque than arp..

using the 22+ 90 + 90 +90 that the manual says to use for new bolts will get you around 120+ ft/lbs

22ft/lb +90deg +90deg on my used bolts was 100-110

You dont need to torque anything tighter with a thinner hg.

I had issues with my ARP head studs and ended up calling ARP. Very helpful guys and very knowledgeable. I can't remember the specific torque, but they warned me not to go above 15 (IIRC) what the specs said. I have higher compression and the car is a street car for now. Still, I'd call ARP and talk to them; they spent a few days tracking down engineers and getting some extra information for me when I needed it.
