Default Reading Boost

I was wondering if I could read how much I was boosting at 9k without actually driving. What i mean to say is I see people saying they see full boost in 3rd or 4th gear at 9k and I was wondering if I would see my full boost by just reving it up in my driveway, or do I have to actually be driving the car.
So far I only got up to 3 psi, but it wasnt at redline because there was too much traffic on the road. I have a stock ct w/ac btw.

Thanks

You could do that because you have a belt driven supercharger. It is not based on engine load, only engine RPM.

You can't really do it. Yes you can spin up to redline but I wouldn't do it for long with no load. Something will give. And as the car isn't moving (speed less than 5kph) VTEC won't engage.

Thanks for the replies guys,
I'll find a empty straight and test there.

I should see at least five psi on stock setup right?

if you are running a vafc or some other other kind of piggyback, vtec engages while not moving. When i had my crx with a vafc i could rev it up and you would hear the transition
