8k Is plenty for your power goal just like has been stated above. My build is nearing the 13k mark and thats including stuff for e85, 8.8 diff kit. Just take your time. I know its easy to want to rush things but trust me the info/parts are out there.

8k would be plenty if you sourced and did all the work yourself. Just but reading your post I can tell that your going to need a mechanic to do you clutch and most of the turbo install. Labor is what's your to kill you. I would expect 10k minimum if you factor in labor cost.
