I was actually going to spend the money and get the top diff that PuddyDad makes... But money that I would have spent on just the differential would seem like a waste to me if I'm still running stock axles. AND PuddyDad himself said that he would not recommend using the Drive Shaft Shop axles with his diff because they are made of "Inferior quality". As for the aftermarket axles, I've heard plenty of people talk about their problems with vibration, and this isn't conforting to hear when I plan on taking my car to the track and running high speeds.. I wish there was a better sollution for the rear-end AND the axles (besides Spoon axles)!

i have a puddymod stage 2 rear end with 3.91 gears. I won't spend money on an aftermarket rear end if it means i will go through wheel bearings every 10k miles, have horrible vibrational issues or have defective parts. Until something comes out with something that runs as well as stock (but has the ability to be launched), im going to keep my reinforced rear end and enjoy the car on things that don't involve launching.

run stock axles. they are easily obtainable, cheap, and the weakest link. if you stregthen the axles, then the tranny will hate you.

I really don't think the puddy mod diff is worth it. If i'm going to upgrade I don't want to have to worry about my axles breaking. That would suck be out on the street or track and my axle broke. Yes their cheap, but $200 adds up if you continue to break them.

Me and a coupe of locals are actually looking for someone in the area to make us a bracket.

Heres a thought. if you did go with a puddy mod diff and kept breaking axles, you could always upgrade the. Do you know if anyones ran the puddy mod diff with upgraded axles? In the long run it may be more expensive then a r200 conversion but it would be much closer to oem.

The inline piece is a VERY nice kit, but the $$ is just asking to much.

I'm going puddymod here. I rather replace an axle a few times a year than my tranny.

However someone that is a serious tracker, may need to step up to something more beefy.
