Default Removing the oil cooler

I removed the oil cooler to put on the Inline Pro relocation kit and I am wondering if I can remove the hard black pipe that runs from the cooler across the front of the block. I am not sure if the oil cooler feeds from the block to the T stat or if it goes the other way. The last thing I need is to overheat. Any suggestions? Also does anyone know a Honda part number for the oil filter adapter that is needed when the cooler is removed.

I've been looking into 'converting' to an air/oil cooler when I get my turbo on and using those lines specifically for the turbo.

In my searching I have found that the K series motors that have a water/oil cooler have the same setup but on the non-cooled motors there is no lines present at all.

So going off of that I would say you would be fine removing them.

Here's a K series that has been 'retrofitted' with a oil cooler...

you can take the coolant line off the front but you have to have the fittiing by the oil cooler welded up and you will have to modify the water pump housing by welding the hole shut there also.
