Thanks for posting some pics. A friend is gonna give me some tubing so I can make mine. Gonna cut it out ASAP lol.

It definitely cleans up the bay a bit, as well as making room for a hefty turbo!

Looking it over, seems they are spot welded. Wonder how hard it is to get those brackets off?

Just drill out the spot welds and it slides out.

You talking about the cross member, the brackets, or both?

both, i just did this, theres some spot welds on the bottom of the cross member too, once they are all drilled just bang it out with a hammer from the bottom, actually i used a jack in the end and it popped out

Yea I was looking it over. I just got back from lowes, picked up some new drill bits to drill out the welds, and a new grinder.

Picked up some 1/8th" steel plating and some round tube from a buddy for free.

Gonna start working tomorrow on it in fact.

I'll post up pics as I start and progression for other guys.
