researching engine management for turbo
i am under the impression that the aem is by far one of the most tuneable engine management computers available for our cars. unfortunately, id like to keep the obdII functionality of the stock ecu, i know the greddy computer is obdII compliant, but what would i be losing by going with the greddy instead of the aem? also, i found a kit that was released for the nsx's that is obdII compliant, using a msl modified aem computer, anything like that yet for the s?
do you want to keep the OBDII because of emissions? if so you might want to check with your state. in CO you do not fail soley on your OBDII feedback, if the computer does not get a reading, you can still pass as long as the smog passes...
I used Greddy eManage before with my SC Setup. I regret it since the day I bought it so I went with EMS. There is no way to compare both. Def. get the AEM.
Think of AEM as an investment. Whenever you want to sell it, you can always sell it for $300 less of what you paid for.

Invest in good used parts that people want and you don't lose much at all, if any.
