Anyone who purchased a stage 2 cam set from me will get their money back after returning the cams (can be used). I sent each of them a PM with the information they need. I don't think you should have to pay for a product that doesn't work.
More than just a class act.

Honestly, I have heard good things from a number of people about the BC cams on numerous other cars. I am hoping that this is an isolated incident for the S2000. And maybe people should wait to see one or two other people get their cars dyno'ed and see what happens.

Also, yes you can start the car with the cams being a full tooth off with a standalone.

I have also heard good things about the BC cams (on other cars)...and I think that's why I'm a little disappointed with these results.

I'm not giving up hope though...this is, after all, the FIRST real-world test done with these cams...plus, all of this is one huge learning experience for all of us...I mean, let's face it, there are so many variables that could attribute to the loss in power...I still wonder if adjustable cam gears would have made a difference...

It just doesn't seem like there's enough timing on there. The large dip and then the bogging that you hear. I know you said you got it retuned but I think it just wasn't done right. I don't see why it would bog with more lift.

OG: i have some questions on your tune....
you had the cams installed with out chaning any thing on your prior setup?

also do you know what your timing map looks like? B4 the cam install and B4 the recent tune?

with the 3mm gasket do you know your current Comp Ratio? I wish you were able to log the timing curve while you were on the dyno just to see what it is doing.

with the added lift and duration you basically have more air and fuel to burn and if timing is not properly compensated for this you will get lower results than the stock cams. This is just a thought but i was looking over your Dyno and it has a nice huge dip both in HP and TQ right where Vtec should kick in. At that same point your AFR takes a dump and runs richer.

Larger Vtec lobe allowed more air and fuel to get shoved in but it's not getting an optimal burn or proper cylinder pressure to squeeze out the power. Duration is advanced about 6-7* with a total of 1" more lift your timing should be advanced according to these specs. the AFR looks close actually too close i am suspecting it was clampped on the tail pipe and not before the cat or before any mufflers?

Just a few thoughts of mine... I think i will bite the bullet and have it installed and see how i end up. Again i have an 06 with Amuse Header, Tanabe Exhaust, K&N drop infilter, E-Man Ultimate, and soon cams.....

lets see how bad my results are. I think i will measure my cams and check the run out before i actually get them installed to make sure mine are Kosher and not a wrong grind.

Rash, lets not go there...You've been standup, so far....My buddy/mechanic/tuner have been working on turbo cars for years. Im 100% confident in all their abilities. Like i told you in my PM. My buddy/mechanic is on s2ki and i gave you his screen name to PM him to get the particulars on the install and tune. If you have any doubts please PM him.....If you choose not too, then please keep your dubts to yourself....thxs!.....If anyone else wants his screen name he will be more then happy to go over the install/tune process.

edit:::: Just look at the numbers with the stock cams 434.16rwhp and 275.15 torque....They can make those numbers on stock cams, but they dont know how to install and tune aftermarket cams.... Ohhh, ok

I don't thik this has anything to do with the tuner...are there any dyno results from any other honda turbo cars on crower's website?

I know his cams have worked on NA cars, but how about turbo cars? This is all an easy fix, we just need to hear from the man himself.
