Default RHD turbo options

Hi all,

I'm currently boosted via the HKS supercharger and although its been fun for the past 4 years i fancy a decently sized turbo to give the car abit more mid range power and the benefit of no parasitic lose of the supercharger. Also there is the small problem of a HKS replacement charger costing £2500 and when i need to replace mine i would find it hard to spend the money on the charger rather than going the turbo route.

I'm more interested in response than out and out power (400whp would be more than enough for me). I have been reading alot about the G25-550 and the G25-660 turbos that have a very quick spool. I have also been recommended a GT30 turbo. Has anyone got any experience of the G25 turbos. I dont want to get into the situation that you get with the Greddy turbo where it chokes the engine and you lose performance.

For header/manifold options im restricted to pretty much a sidewinder style to avoid the RHD steering column. Everything else apart from the heat protection is already on the car. I can weld so apart from the manifold choice and turbo nothing else really worries me about the build

Any opinions regarding turbo choice for good early spool and still enough puff for 400whp would be appreciated. I realise the G series of turbos are still quite new but there is a good video of a kswapped s2000 that consistently does well on track with the G25 turbo but i don't know enough about the F20 and the K20 to know whether both would respond the same.
