Default Ricks radio door

anyone running this with an aftermarket headunit? im interested in purchasing one but the radio door presses the volume button on my alpine headunit upon opening it and rick's door looks a tad thicker. thanks to anyone that can help.

well i dug deeper and found this, but is anyone using it with an alpine unit to verify?

A good radio shop should be able to move your head unit back a tad.

I agree it's easy to move the head back about 1/4 in if it 's a problem i moved the hu all together to the seceret compartment, and put full size gauges in there.

I've seen this before, a guy put a few small pieces of foam (double sided tape - just peal one side) on each corner of the door...it gave it just enough clearance and you couldn't even see them.
