I expect the flex is to allow for expansion rates and deforming of the pipes.

It is a lot like my LoveFab V1 setup that doesn't have the long dump pipe or flex. It's a PITA to refit the wastegate.

thanks for the compliments!
my original intent was to put flexes on both the main and dump but because of the lack of space, i could only fit it on the dump. and the flex there allows for easy instal and removal of the downpipe. i may possibly put a flex down stream more where the cat was much like the stock headder and the doughnut exhaust gasket.
and yes recirc'd dump ftw!! i hate driving around in open dumps. you cant be ninja about things.

Very nice work you have done so far. Welding that manifold looks like a pain in the ass but you defintiely did an excellent job. Are you using oversized pistons or stock crank?

edit:
that exhaust looks sexy as fawk
diameter?

thanks! pistons are standard cp overbore so i thinkn its 0.5mm over? im using an f22 crank.
the exhaust is 3" to the rear flange you can see in in the pic by the diff and from there it is 3" to dual 2.5" with an oval transition.
