Default Rotrex SC - Mapping question

Hi all. Greetings from the UK!

Just finished the installation of my TTS full race kit, and have uploaded the base/start up calibration TTS kindly provided.

The kit is based on a Rotrex c38-91, and i’m running ID1000 injectors, Hondata 4 bar MAP, decat, Tanabe touring medalion managed via AEM EMS V2.

I’m using 99 RON pump fuel.

i can get the car to fire up after a reasonable crank time, but it will then die immediately. Holding the throttle produces some rough, rich running but it’s not happy and the data from AEMtuner is very ugly on the graphs.

Does anyone have a decent start up map for a charged S2000? I’d really appreciate trying a different
map. I only want to get the car to idle and warm up so I can check for leaks before getting on the Dyno for tuning.

Any help/advice greatly appreciated

Is the base map scaled for 1000cc injectors? What ever base tune you get needs to be scaled correctly for the injector size or it wont run right.

Good question. Given that TTS spec the injectors for the kit, and also supplied the base map I would have assumed they are scaled correctly! Perhaps I shouldn’t assume.

in the setup wizard I can find ID1000s in the primary injector list, and can select @43psi which I think will be closest what my pump is sending out.

What’s the next step?

I'd recommend talking to ap1chief.

He remote tunes you and has much better response time than most other people that do remotes.

I'm sure he can hook you up with a good base map to get you running

I’ve got one for a CT Novi 1200 with ID 1000’s and Hondata 4 bar map, same exhaust and ecu too.

Should be fine for you at idle and light throttle as the Bov is open to atmosphere.

It also closed loop with AEM wide band
