Filter right off the compressor may look and sound nice, but if its performance your after, route it away to a cool spot, with preferably a heat shield. Some may say the blower (or turbo) will heat it up anyways so why bother, but even if its 5 degrees cooler going in, that's 5 degrees cooler coming out of it as well.

Your gonna have oil vapors coming out of the pcv valve into your engine bay . Also how would you mount up the bypass valve?
bypass valve just needs to be mounted to my aftercooler and the vaccuum line so it can bleed off the excess boost pressure when the system is in vaccuum. it's not 100% necessary to recirculate that air back to the pre-compressor intake pipe so i just leave the outlet of the bypass valve open to the air. the oil vapor from the PCV valve isn't a big deal to me

Made up a cardboard mockup and bent it. Then I had it covered in platinum jet hot. There's an insulation layer on the bottom too. I removed the factory fan and put in one with more cfm.

Look between the hood rod holder and the aut plate. You can see the light. That's a big air source right there too besides the aut plate and the fender hole.

Had it this way for a few years now, it works well.

Yes you send it to jet-hot.com

they did both the bottom and and the back pieces. I think it cost 60 bucks.

my above post:

you don't need to recirculate that back to the intake...i just have a PCV valve on the valvecover open to the atmosphere. neither of those is mine btw but i do have a similar setup. just let the bypass valve empty to the atmosphere as well th_dontknow.gif
