Turboing a bseries and the s2000 f is very diff. Every anomoly of a turbo setup is amplified in an s2000 application.
Can you elaborate?
Two common issues come to mind.

There's the heat generation issue. Most tubular manifolds will also need the battery relacated, the fuse box turned, move the heater hose valve, and add lots of heat shielding. The forged and Kings manifold can keep stock location of everything, but you still are going to produce a good amount of heat. It's just the nature of the beast.

Then there's the drivetrain-transmission and differential-"weakness". With over 450 turbocharged ponies you will have no difficulty smashing the diff and though the transmission should hold up, folks have broken them at this power level. There are solutions out there, but for me, if I'm going that route and its associated $$$, I may as well get a different car and start with a stouter platform, e.g., 370z, evo, corvette, etc.

So you explained all the weaknesses of the S. What about a civic being front wheel drive (horrible traction problems) or how you have to preload the car like mad so you don't break axles. How about having the block built (making 300whp plus) since they only last a couple of years depending on how hard their driven. Once again it's the name of the game and you're going to have to pay to play. I don't plan on going down the turbo route till I'm done with school because I'm aware of how financially draining it is. I did my research before buying the S and I'm fully aware of how weak the diff is. I always wanted an evo and yes there are days I regret getting my s for pure performance but I also remind myself how clean an S is next to most evos and that I can have a 500whp plus car but may take a lot more money.

I almost choked on my breakast when i saw, " start with a stouter platform like an evo".. i obliterated the stock transfer case of my MR with 320whp after about 18 total digs ever.

I wouldnt sell my s for a mistubishi anything.
And lets not even get into all the electrical nightmares that accompany 99+ nissans. Id buy a rucus before a 370... Lol

Damn I'm surprised you started with an evo then moved to an S. It was a toss up between an ev09 and a S. The key thing you said was "MR" from what I've always read people switch from the 6 speed to the 5 speed for track purposes and because its a stronger tranny. Wow I'm still taking back that you ditched an evo and started all over with an S.
