yeah i know but theres just something about the s2k's that lures me to them. but itll be a fun 450 rwhp car for me im hoping to run mid to low 11's does that sound about right for 450 with drags and a beefed up rear dif / axles? or would i still be looking at high 11's?

I think this pretty much sums it up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_vacawaHLw

I've broken 2 axles, and only 1 differential so I'd say the axles are the weak point.

I ran 13.2 @ 110, supercharged at 6psi. I only got in 2 runs + a few inches in the 3rd run, as you see in the video. When I was stock I ran 14.3 @ 97, to give you an idea of my driving ability (or lack thereof). SC at 6psi is certainly good for high 12's w/ a competent driver

if you get an 06+ S20000 and believe jackson racing will finally make their supercharger (kraftwerks // rotrex, it's been promised this month and so far no setbacks) you can get 400whp from a S/C in a $6500 kit at 10psi. comes with fuel injectors, a reflash, and i forget what else all in the kit. they're promising great reliability for this, but only the test cars are on the road right now. they all seem to love it.

This is at the limit of the head gasket, needs a clutch, and will bust the diff if its launched hard. Stock diffs are usually ~$500, or you can get a 300zx conversion from inlinepro, but it costs upwards of $3000 for that. a lot of people just don't launch it and put a spare diff in the garage.

and for reference, the best stock 1/4 mile times are ~13.8s, but i don't know the trap speeds.

You can build a decent FFR cobra for nothing and have all the Ford 9 combos and then supercharge THAT motor. 1/4 mile no contest...driving s2k of course.
