I sold both of mine around 2 grand or so but i always sell for a lot cheaper than what i buy if i really need to get rid of something. But guaranteed, when i sold those kits, they had everything with them that may have needed some tinkering or what not. that and the oil filter relocation kits that are generally not included or misc things that i do include.

But overall, they were both great kits...the reason for selling? first one, needed cash. When i was able to save up again, i bought another kit. sold that because the folks at Ptuning offered to sponsor my s2000 and build their turbo kit. I couldn't turn down such a great offer.

Otherwise, I was happy with my 330whp at 11-12 psi all day long.

Supercharger you can get for 2500 or so, bolt on and should be good to go. Turbo will need more parts. Don't expect to get any setup for under 5 grand used or more new.
Agreed up until the 5 grand part.

I paid no more than $3900-$4000 for both of my godspeed kits brand new for everything...new kit, new injectors, new AEM ems, new tune. I did keep the walbro in the tank so minus that.

Is that with a clutch and install as well? That adds about a grand to the total there. Sure you can use oem for a bit but will sleep only a matter of time really.

You will never get far in this world (tuning), if you go the cheap route. Your going to spend more money then you can even imagine at this point, because its the little parts that will eventually add up.

Little bolts, oil, AN fittings, will stack up instantly. The point Im trying to make it, before you spend little to next to nothing on a KNOCK OFF turbo setup, just keep in mind these ventures are endless when it comes to money. Even the best of kits fail due to unforseen circumstances. Dont discourage yourself by squeezing every penny out of the build, just take your time and do it right with good quality parts.

I had already had my clutch swapped long before i was turbo.

You never mentioned clutch. but if you did, add another 300.

Not true I have seen lots of Greddy kits go from 2k-2500 and thats with EMS and all. Based off what the OP says he wants thats all he will need. BTW I acquired my Greddy kit for right at 3K two years ago used. Came with everything. Just make the marketplace your playground and watch for good deals.

It was a matter of going the cheaper route on my engine build. I Knew the cast h22 pistons I put in the motor (2.4 stroke) were not going to handle any level of boost, but because I thought "what's the worse that can happen".. motor lasted all of 6 months with maybe 200 miles.
Point being, from personal experience and being a piker about the build it end up costing me $800 for nothing. Patience is not something I posses nor do I presume most ppl in this game, but it pays off.
Just save the money and get legit parts. Not everything needs to be top of the line but mechanically sound parts pay for themselves.
