. Turbo will need more parts. Don't expect to get any setup for under 5 grand used or more new.
Not true I have seen lots of Greddy kits go from 2k-2500 and thats with EMS and all. Based off what the OP says he wants thats all he will need. BTW I acquired my Greddy kit for right at 3K two years ago used. Came with everything. Just make the marketplace your playground and watch for good deals.

True greddy kits are cheap! But to have it tuned correctly with aem ems or similar stand alone etc will run you close to that amount. The engine management and tune it usually comes with is pretty damn poor. And again there is clutch/install on top for most, gauges etc.
There are always ways to have a cheaper setup but it won't be near it's potential without spending more money to do it right imo.

OP if you want to give it a shot go for it but don't say you haven't been warned by everyone in here.

Another option that can keep you around $2500 total and 300whp would be to get a use comptech aftercooled kit or something. They are super reliable. Can pretty much install it and forget about it and have 300whp. Won't feel like a turbo but will still make the car considerably faster and pull really nice up top!
Would highly recommend this route over going with a cheapo no name ebay kit. That or save up for a proper turbo setup.

i bought a used kit off s2ki paid 1650 shipped. turbo blew so 600 for a turbo. injectors were 400, fuel pump 100, tune 300. thats $3050. people said it was going to be over 5k proved them wrong and making over 400whp. if my turbo never blew it would be even cheaper. 2450 plus a clutch if your making the power i picked up a cc stage 4 cluch off s2ki for 400 shipped. just look around and start building up a kit.
