Default Is a s2000 worth turboing

I been debating this for along time whether i should turbo my s2000 or look for a different car? i would like to hear some feed back on the difference people have noticed and felt on the after stages of a turbo on there car. I plan on taking a car to a well known track in Elkhart lake Road America when they have open days of running for fun.

Are you looking to go fast if so how fast. At 300hp you will hang with GTO's mustangs etc. At 400hp you hang with vets, at 500+hp you'll kick the crap out of most everything even other modded cars cause the s2000 is pretty light.

There are a few different options for turbo kits, so how much difference you feel varies on the setup. I say go for it and turbo the car.

i would do a little research, but there are definitely other cars that you can make faster for a lot less dough.

Yes, to some its worth turboing to others people would rather sell and buy a c5z06 and mod that. To each his own what are your power goals?

i think it is, i don't know about you, but when i see a c5z06 on the road i expect it to be very fast. when most people see an s2000 they expect to be "fun to drive" or "good for some spirited driving on a windy road". throw a 3mm head gasket in it and a turbo kit, and you could hand a modded c5z06 his ass.. just my $.03
