Some advice from my experience, get ready to spend double whatever the kit cost is for electronics and various things. Also if you are buying a used kit be very careful of what your buying. Go ahead and read the greddy thread a lot of problems you ahve with turbo kits are covered there. And as always a turbo s2k is pimp.

That's a FACT!

Say your bisic turbo kit is ~ $4k, electronics, clutch and exhaust will be another $3-4k easy and if you don't do the work yourself, figure another $1k and that's with a BASIC kit. If you upgrade the turbo, add an oil filter relocation kit, add guages and various other thing you WILL need, a tune comes to mind, figure another $1000-2000 for all that and you see it'll easily eclipse $10k done right.

I wouldn't even consider a turbo unless you've got about that much sitting around to throw at the S. I'm pretty sure mine cost quite a bit more than that when it was all said and done.

But done right a turbo'd S w/~400 whp is a HOOT to drive. The torque under the curve is probably the most noticable thing when your just driving around, it makes it sooo much more driveable and once the turbo spools things start happening pretty fast
