How do you find the heat without coating or wrapping the manifold man? I think I may do the same thing with my dumppipe and dumptube.. Is that just wrap on it or did you get it coated before wrapping?

I may spray my dumppipe/tube in dei exhaust paint prior to wrapping. Will that give a positive or negative affect with heat and rust?
The sidewinder gives off alot of heat but my hood is vented, lines are wrapped and wires are all tucked so it's not really a problem. Down pipe is just wrapped. If your parts are made from stainless you really don't have to worry about rusting.
thanks for the response man.. If you don't mind where did you buy the heatwrap fOr the wires and downpipe? They seem to be holding up fine!

How tough was it to fit the oil line there by the cross member?
Oil feed was easy no problems at all. Drain required me to notch the crossmember a little at the outlet flange.
So all you had to do was the minor degree of notching listed on the first page? Seems to be mild, is that the case? Considering your exact set up 6262 with the PLM mani/dp. Any suggestions or things to look out for other than notching?

I actually had to notch the crossmember about another inch to the right for more clearance but that is it. Once you have everything bolted up it's easy to see where the crossmember needs to be cut.

Thanks for the prompt replies. Do you feel the manifold is solid? It almost seems too good to be true for the price.

Vid for you guys! SC300 has a JDM 2JZ swap spraying water/meth. This would have been a much closer race if the fawkin Cobra would of lined up and I actually got to brake boost. Oh well I think a water/meth setup is in my near future.

very close race

Hows that manifold holding up? Any cracks yet? How many miles do you have on the setup?

Have around 4500 miles on the setup and the manifold is still holding strong.

Do you have any of the following problems:

1) having to crank the motor a lot before it starts?
2) battery not charging whenever you use the car?
3) engine cranking slow when starting?
