Could you please define that?
What is the problem and how it is dealt with?
That means if you just install the vortech or any other sc, the engine runs to lean is certain parts of the rpm band. Which leads high temperature and combustion, once you drive very fast (like I did), especially as the fourth cylinder get's the least cold air of all cylinders.

That's what happened to my engine, see the video, after reaching 275 where the video stops I got off the gas, slowed down and took the next exit to drive back, but then I already heard the kling, kling of the engine.

rip

Sorry for the off-topic but this is important.

All supercarger kits are supossed to be plug and play aren't they?
Killing your engine by just having a high speed run is unacceptable. What would happen if you remained close to top speed for 15-30 min on a fast night highway ride?

So what does it take to run a supercharger safely?

Shaving a second is more about the driver than the car. If you can't get off the line good, you can't get off the line. That would be me! And because of that, I don't drag. Now... ask me about a rolling, second-gear run from 40 mph...

When i took my car to the track i could never get off the line right so i could only pull out a 14.00, 14.50, and a 15.00 all at 102mph. so id say it all depends on the driver and track conditions. But from a roll id be a hell of a run for a z06.

Wow, that's such a low trap speed. Low times are understandable, but only 102?

never got out the whole very well. i always had that feeling of breaking stuff. which ended up happening anyways but now that i have new drive train parts i think i am willing to try it again. My first run was with a bad clutch babied out the hole. the second was just after break in period of the new clutch real ugly 60ft and third was right after a big event stalled out on the line. after that its been broken parts. DS and trans mainly.
