I've planned to put SC in my car and I'm running 2000 s2000 in almost 75,000 milleage on it. I'm just wondering is it safe enough to put SC in my car???
and if it is reliable, how long is it gonna be good for the engine??
please give me your suggesstion based on your experiences.

thanks

I just hit 70K on mine. I also about 1 month ago, drove from Northern Ohio to Southern Alabama in a single trip without any problems. That's over 900 miles. I also take it up to 9K often enough to make sure it can still handle it .
You're fine if the engine has no other problems.

thanks for your opinion,

I think I;m gonna put it mine for next week.
i've searched aroung and they said our engine can last to 150,000 millage.
that's making me confidence about it-with your support too of course

what modification have you done with your car? - and what is your whp right now?

do you think if i mod these stuffs, i would get 320 whp?????:
- comptech SC
- ACT clutch
- test pipe
- V-AFC, is it a good idea to put it to replace E-manage?, because it cost chaper
- HKS super high performance catback
because I just talked to "eipracing"(u know them??-san jose) and they gurantee 320 whp after i installed those.

thanks

Replace the clutch 1st, them install the SC. The clutch install is easier without a SC in the way.

The VAFC is nice if you like flashy lights that don't do anything usefull on a SC'd car.

Both SC kits have been pretty reliable at stock boost levels, you want 320HP, you'll need more boost, and much more advanced fuel control than the stock kit provides.

If you'd like it reliable, stick with the stock SC kit and be happy with only 300hp.

VAFC is handy if you just want to lower the VTEC point!

I think +/- 5000 RPM for the SC would be good as it gives you more time in the Zone!
