SC6262 or garrett 60-1
i sold my T67 as it was too massive for my power goals.
but i want a turbo that will mount the same as my T4 garrett back housing so i dont need to redo my dp.
that being said, are the precision back housings the same as the garrett( T4 vband).
and if so, is the sc6262 a better turbo? is the turbine better than the garrett P-trim?
thanks, ill be ordering this tomorrow(july 4).

your questions can be answered with a little research.
on top of that, youre comparing a 60-1 which is 20 year old technology to a 62 billet wheel, which is a few years old and 3mm bigger. the 62 is definitely going to make better power compared to the 60-
1. the 62 will probably spool a little slower than the 60-1 but not significantly slower. p-trim exhaust wheel is a big shaft wheel so its going to spool a bit slower for sure, and with the 67mm compressor wheel just about anything is an upgrade for you. since youre t4, and 60-1 are still expensive, id do a .68 t4 6262

i have used 60-1's with awesome results in the past. and i know there is alot of hype about the billet 6262, so i wanted real world tried and tested data. again, search function being down killed that aspect.
i see the 6262 listed as "PTE6262" and "SC6262SP" and i know there are names for the abbrav in the name. like the S in the end is for the S-cover and the P in the end is for the Ported housing. so if i see a PTE(precision Turbo & Engine)6262, what does that all consists of?
and are the garrett vband T4 housings the same as Precision T4 vband housings in how everything mounts up. like are the vbands in the same exact spot? because id really hate to have to redo my DP.

There's also a small build thread someone made 426 I believe a 9psi!!
(60-1 ^^turbo)
Well I have a 60-1 really quick spool up time. I'm not tuned yet but it pretty nasty at 7psi.
There's a 6262 BallBearing turbo in the for sale

What's your goal?
Remember you have log manifold!
