I keep mine because the Mrs. probably wouldn't do so well with instant, extra power. The smoother the better for her.

I removed the ONLY item I could possibly stand to remove while also giving me a guarantee to avoid any possible future comments from the Mrs.

First I don't want to prove any points but some facts I can get to.
Honda Doesn't make a Petrol Turbo cars for a reason....Thank God they Do their job so good at NA so we can get more power out of it when they go FI.
I don't know if you have seen or read Journalist articles about our car and when they compare it with other cars in its class.(download the TOP GEAR Comparison with Porsche and BMW)
When they test it - they test it with a Turbo Competitors or cars that are 3.0L.(Z4,350Z,TT 1.8T,boxter,SLK)
And they always say that the 2.0L engine is Lacking torque.
But do you know where that is good? The Car Shines on Twisty Roads(mountain too) and can Go Faster in the Curves because of lack of torque...the car pulls and doesn't put too much Stress on the rubber and it doesn't make it Slip. That's where HP counts over Torque. And try the Z4 3.0 which is a great Engine but has more torque and when you are slamming it in a curve the Rear tends to slip because of Torque.So..You get my point.
The S has a Very Very good chassis and that's a Big part too.
So why Doesn't a Honda make a Turbo car?Its easier by the way.
Why?Because it can make a NA car that does the same thing...
And if you want Torque you should have looked somewhere else...Big Block American car or a Holden?Viper is your choice
And the S is a Bee and it meant to be that way.
And no I haven't Driven a Turbo S because I Still have the only S here...
MY friend has a Fiat Coupe which is a 2L Turbo Stock and the car is little modded and its goes great...When I drive in it it pulls so hard and it makes me think he is gonna whoop my S Ass....And we Dragged them and before we did he Went on a run and the car Goes so Hard it makes you think????What the Fu**.He is gonna eat me. I am Stock-NA,
We Do drag 5 times and we Finish always the same.. Side by Side no winner.
So Fell of torque isn't all power... its great and its makes feeling so good and it looks faster but maybe its not....Have you Driven a Big powerful Diesel Engine? In a modern Car? lets say Audi A8 4.0 TDI or BMW 740D or Mercedes S 400CDI?They have Twice the Torque of turbo petrol engines.Once you have a Drive in them you wont think of anything else...they are around 250-300hp.And the BMW 530D is a rocket and goes as quick as the 530I maybe even quicker.. and they are so Efficient at it they can go with 10liters of diesel on 65 miles and can kick any petrol's ass...
And in the end in terms of motor stress...Which car gets more stress in lower Rpm and what about MPG?I don't look at the MPG but that's a point too...
In the end sorry for the long post but guys up there in the US when you get your Diesel fuel as clean as you should have it and they offer you diesel engines with the cars than get ready for a blast because V6 and V8 wont be any Fun.

They are your words and it isn't true.

How much torque my car puts out is a factor of how far down my right foot goes. Yes, in a corner that you can go around full throttle I will be part throttle, and yes I could loose traction if I chose to but that is up to me. And I'll be around that corner much quicker than the NA car.

Seriously, you are talking out your behind. I guess you want to believe one thing and just say the words that support it whether they make sense or not. Please, have a bit of a think about what you're fighting for before posting again. You're just making a fool of yourself.

I was saying what I read about the Car in magazines.
And as far as proving a point and how intelligent I am or not this forum isn't the place. But if you think you know it all - think again.
