Default Setting alarms for serial gauge

does anyone know how to set alarms on the aem serial gauge?

For example the gauge would beep/blink when i reach operating temp, or when im going through the gears it would beep/blink when i hit 10psi.

Someone needs to write up a tutorial with all S2000 specific settings for the serial gauge. I played with the ProGauge software, but never came up with anything.

I figured it out by reading through the forums on AEM's website.

It's very cool once you get it. It's too bad the software isnt as user-friendly.

The problem is you can't have one gauge setup that works for any s2000 because you need the values that your specific AEM EMS is sending out in order to calibrate the gauges correctly.

A step by step diy on programming this thing would be great.

Druz do you have links to the threads on the AEM site?

That is true, but I'm sure you could slightly alter the settings to make it work for any S2000 rather easily. Would you mind sending your calibrations my way? I have dicked around with mine a bunch but havnt mastered it yet, and starting from scratch for IGN timing and other useful gauges will take a long time

Awesome, thanks! Now I just need to get one.

When you install this thing what is needed other than the serial connection? Power and illumination?

Power, ground, and you plug it directly into the serial port on the AEM EMS. So when ever you need to datalog/tune your car you will have to unplug your Serial gauge.
