Default Settings for AEM Tru-boost

Hey guys, I was wondering what you are running for Spr (crack pressure) and duty cycle to run 10psi. I was reading the instructions and am kinda confused on the duty cycle. I see that the SPr should be somewhere between 2 and 5? Any help would be appreciated! I am wrapping up my install in the morning by finishing the wiring of my Uego and Tru boost.

when i setup my tru-boost, i did logs and runs on the highway. I started with spring pressure and saw what psi i made. I have a 10 pounds spring! Then i went to spring pressure, and upped it to 10. Set it to A boost and then ran another run and looked at the results. I then added the gain at 10 percent intervals until i reached the desired boost.

If you conceptualy understand the idea of what the boost controller is doing, it makes alot more sense. So for ever 1 your adding to the gain, your basically making it move 1% higher than what the spring pressure is set at. So if you go 10, on a 10psi spring, you'll be around 11-12. Its not accurate, but it makes sense to think about it that way.

The SPR or crack pressure is the psi that the wastegate starts to open. This should in theory increase boost response because the spring on the wastegate will slowly start to open, lowering the turbo response time! With this, the wastegate will see no pressure at all until the boost controller desides to. However, you can overshoot your mark and get a spike if its too close to the spring pressure. I would just test and log, thats how i got it to work correctly!
