AEM Wideband Failsafe...
Soon to be FI and just have some minor questions regarding which gauges to run. I have searched and read that oil pressure and of course AFR gauges seem to be the most important. However I would also like to have a boost gauge. Seeing as AEM offers a way to condense 3 gauges into 2 why not? Just wondering if the AEM wideband failsafe would be as good as having two individual boost and AFR gauges? This way I can also get a oil pressure gauge. Also how important is it to really have one? I've been reading that it is critical but once you lose oil pressure it just seems too late to prevent something.
I am open to other gauge recommendations!

I have the AEM Wideband Failsafe and have turned several other members onto it. It really is a great gauge. Simple to read at a glance, and the datalogging features were KILLER when I didn't have a standalone ECU. I set it up to show wideband AFR in the center digital display, and boost PSI on the outer dial ring. You can also select what color you want the outer ring to light up in a given PSI range. I've got all vacuum values in red, then 0-10 PSI in green, 11-14 PSI in yellow, and 15+ PSI in red again. So if I see yellow on the gauge before I shift I know I'm hitting my boost target, and if I ever see red right before shifting I know I'm over-boosting for some reason, etc. I don't even have the failsafe function activated; I really just bought it to condense two gauges into one, and I love it.
