You made the backhalf a bolt in subframe? That is awesome.

You need to get clones of that rear end setup if it works out for you.

That way you will save me some time

Yes, I didn't want to cut up the car at all (as it only has 16k on it. and is in great shape), so we built it to just bolt in. It was a chore no doubt. If I wanted to go back to stock, I could just unbolt the rear end setup and bolt the stock subframe right back in.

We have talked about putting the back half setup, suspension, and brake setup into production once we get everything tested on my car.

I will obviously keep everyone in the loop if that happens.

Thanks man.

The car will also still sport a complete fully finished interior and exterior. Along with the factory hardtop.

I'm getting a cage as well. I like the clean set up with the interior in there. I emailed afi if the s372 would fit on that manifold and clear guess I just found out . Running a built motor as well. Still gonna run meth injection?
Thanks. The 372 will hit the stock crossmember and is pretty close to the hood, but it fits.

I'm switching over to C16 as I'm not going to be driving the car near as much as last year.

Thanks. It's a custom built radiator made by a local company named Spike. It actually mounts in the same location as the A/C condenser, utilizing the same mounts, and it about twice as thick as the Koyo radiator it replaced. This gives me a bit more room in the engine bay for the big ole turbo....haha

I had a company in Ohio custom build the rack. It's the exact dimensions as the stock rack. The only thing difficult you have to do is mount it.

I'll be honest, between the wiring, EPS computer, and the rack, it's probably a good 30lb weight savings. But I wouldn't do it if you are going to drive it on the street much. The S2000's steering is badass from the factory. I did it because I wanted the weight savings, I'm not going to drive much on the street, and I only have a 4.5" tire up front....haha

Man that thing is gonna be sweet. Good job on the way you did the rear.

Your cylinder bowls look really clean.

Take a look at mine after the head build. I'm not too sure if the pitting is from coolant getting burned, detonation or if its just the way the Honda bowls look from the casting. Did IP do any work to clean the bowls up or did they have any pits in them before you had it worked on? I was told from the head builder that the pitting wont hurt anything but who knows.
