Default Shooting flames

My car occasionally shoots flames lately when I shift at redline. I just wanted to check with you guys and see if that is necessarily a bad thing? What is that typically indicative of; aside from having a bada$$ car of course, haha. Should it have the timing pulled a little? Or is it just running a little rich? What makes that happen, and should it be retuned to try to stop it from doing that or can I just sit back and enjoy it?

Car is supercharged, AP2 pulley, no cat.

I'm not sure if you're mocking me or serious, but either way.

I perfectly tuned car won't backfire so you car isn't running optimally when its shooting flames out the back.

However, there is nothing wrong with it aside from your "losing" power by doing it really.

Thanks for the input. So it's something like: -5hp, but +10 cool points. I think I'm ok with that, haha.

Don't go overkill with it either otherwise in DD you'll get +5 bumper melting points, +10 cop points, +10 other normal people hate you points.

To give an exmaple, we had a stupid STI that would backfire ALL the time around our dorm rooms and naturally he had to drive at friggen 3am; sounded like a shotgun going off...it wasn't cool by any strech of the word. If we ever found his car, it would have a brick through the windshield
