This Cold Weather is a MF.....
I got a 16 psi Reading on the SC and i did some loud Backfires when i hit the REV....And it was like a MF as i said...I was droping off my GF and its a 2 mile drive enough to get the car worm enough and when i left her the car just hit the rev in first in a sec and back fired with AK-47 sounds fireing from the exhaust like 3-4 times than qickly to 2nd gear and it hit the limiter as fast as id did in first...and the same thing...GOD damn what a Good thing is to have a Fast car..You cant get enough of it...you always get that great feeling...
And you alwasy think, its not about the money you spent its that feeling that you cant buy anywhere.....
to finish this monologue i get an SMS 5 min later my GF saying that she felt that her windows were gonna break and if i was out of my mind....Which is good.
Even if i woke somebody up he would have said god damn that sound of Mechanical simphony was worth waking up....

This came up to be a great tread...Keep it up...

Hey mase, mail me man so we can talk to fine tune the car and i can pay you for the help.

I have done it in mine on the road with my boss during halftime of the Superbowl. It looked like an Atomic bomb went off miles away. First time for everything.

Freakin' sweet: points with the boss-man!

I read someplace that continuing to dump fuel into the motor during shifts kept the turbo spooled. "Afterburning" or something. Is this a viable strategy?
Your talking about anti lag..lots of rally cars use it

Everything you need to know about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-lag

Anti-lag is also horrible for a turbo + the motor. The AEM EMS even warns that the anti-lag feature should only be used in race situtations. Street driving is not a race situtation

Thats completely false.
I should have specified, unless your hitting some kind of rev limiter, your car should not be shooting flames out the back. Otherwise please tell me why dumping extra fuel (and causing ignition in the exhaust manifold) would make the car run optimally?

I can only fathom that it would happen when your EGTs are extremly high which in that case you should be backing off the throttle anyway.

A) purposly shooting flames is lame / rice
B) no the emanage cannot change the rev limiter from fuel cut to ignition cut so no flames with it unless you are running stupid rich

It can also happen when you let off to shift before the rev limiter. The ecu has to calculate and lock in the amount of fuel it is going to inject before opening the injector. If the injector is already open and the ecu is locked into injecting 10ms of fuel and you let off the gas the instant the injector opens your going to get 10ms of fuel and no where near the amount of air required to burn it all. You can see the chances of that happening are "low" and that's why it doesn't happen every time but it does happen.

I would never tune my car to shoot flames on purpose but come on... it is pretty cool.
