Given my surroundings, I have not been in too many "fast" cars. The fastest car I've been in was a friends Supra (dont recall how much it was putting down).

He took me for a ride and every time he stepped on the accelerator, I got that "lost my guts" feeling. Its not that we were going super fast, but just every time we accelerated I could feel that feeling.

I also had this same feeling when I rode in an STI.

It's an addicting feeling, and I'm wondering what causes it.. high tq?

I want my S to give me that surge when I drive.

 

the more torque you have, the harder it will pull. the harder it pulls, the more intense the feeling.

 

I have been in a STI as well. I was definitley grabbing the oh $hit handle a few times on the roundabouts. There are times where I wish I would have went with one of those. And this isn't stupid question. I kinda thought the same thing when I first drove the S. But, going from a 1993 Taurus SHO to one of these was a noticeable change for the better in every way but cargo space. With a swuboofer in the back I can't even fit a 30pk in my car
