Default Somebody help! EDIT: SOLVED

Hey I just put the greddy turbo kit in. The car was running fine last night. But, something is wrong now. I hear a weird wining noise when I press the gas. When I go full throttle...the car will accelerate to 4-5 rpm's and will stop accelerating. Anyone know whats wrong here? I'm on the base map right now...running a 60mm tp + exhaust with a bov. I monitor boost with the greddy profec b spec 2 boost control...I have no creeping issues...whats going on here??? Please Help!

Did you get it tuned or, are you running the E-Manage out of the box tune? This could also be part of your problem.

Just some minor tunes done off the base map...no CEL.

I can't seem to pin point the problem.

I'm low on money so I can't get a tune yet.

Any knowledgeable people who might know the problem here? Thanks.

Besides what eveyone else is stating, like get a tune, and limp mode. Maybe your overboosting and the map can't read right.

Check your connections, and maybe describe the sound or tape it and post it.

Put your cat back on until its tuned, you are setting yourself up for failer. And don't beat on it until its tuned. Make sure you have the right plugs, pull them and look at them. Make sure you got enough gas.

need to get a wideband so you can see what the car is doing..you could also log a few runs with the emanager and see what its doing.

I would check the wiring harness to the emanager?

i saw an issue with a buddy's emanager install that the ecu wasn't seeing VSS which is a big thing. You can check that by going out and seeing if your cruise control works or not? if it doesn't then the ECU isn't seeing VSS and its a wiring issue.

you are probbably running really rich.

Okay so I did some tests.

1. Checked the spark plugs. I'm running a little rich. But, that is definitely not the problem. By the way I'm running two step colder NGK Iridiums which is perfect for my set up.

2. Tested for cruise control function and everything works fine.

3. Check all vacuum lines. Everything is A okay.

4. Drove with Boost Control Off.

I now have a CEL...

By the way I have 2005 AP2 and I'm running off the F22C base map. Should I try out the F20C? This is really confusing me.

Another weird thing is...while running my EMU live. The car says I'm at around 1-2 RPM's at a cold start idle. EMU says my engine RPM's are running 5-7k at idle?! The car sounds and seems to be idling fine. Am I missing something here?

I am going to post up a video really soon. But, in the meantime is there anyone who can help me run more tests? Help me...my S is my DD!

YOu have to remember that the EMU only modifies your timing/injectors when in boost.

If your car stops accel. I would first check my AFR's and that my map sensor is reading accurately.

Run a log and post it up.
