Default SOS 1200 install instructinos

Just looking for install instructions.

Actually looking for how to tighten the belt. I think i'm doing it right, but it seems to keep loosening off.

Thanks!

It's very simple. Loosen the bolt on the tensioner idler pulley, adjust the 14mm adjuster to tension the belt then re-tighten the idler pulley bolt.

I used to use a small pry bar and kept the tension on while tightening up the bolt...one of those 14mm ratchet box end wrenches will serve you well.

You don't need a pry bar with the SOS kit

Randy you're thinking of the Comptech kit's tensioner. That's how I do my Comptech kit too.

They told me to send an email requesting a basemap after calling them/buying a new novi 1200 blower from them and I never got a response (after a week and a half)... I wouldn't rely on them for a basemap.

I believe their kit also copies all of the Comptech kit mounting locations, so the comptech instructions should cover the install of pretty much everything besides the tensioner, which is a different design.

Ya I loosen the tensioner pulley, then use a 14mm to tighten it.

Then re tighten the 17mm tight again.

Doesn't seem to to the trick.

What is the issue exactly? Is the tensioner nut loosening under vibration? If so, take a look at nord-lock washers.

It just seems that when I tighten the belt. Go for a dive. Come back and it's loose ish again.

I didn't do the install so I'm really not sure how to tighten it.

I'm going to need some very detailed or visual instructions. I really don't know if I'm doing it correctly.

The tensioner pulley is the one below the top pulley right?
