No its not an issue. 8lb is plenty of rotating mass to keep the engine running like oem. The only thing that changes is how you modulate you clutch and throttle inputs. There is usually a small learning curve there and then you get used to it and never want to go back lol.

This is a video showing some drivability with my act heavy duty pressure plate/oem clutch/8lb act prolite flywheel set up. As you can see take offs are easy and revs dont fall too fast between shifts even with an 8lb flywheel.

I'll definitely weigh the costs of a new clutch and flywheel versus a high end twin disc setup. If the price difference is marginal, then the twin disc is a no brainer, but if its like $1000 difference, then that's something to think about.
The SOS sport 400 is a good option for 600whp 400trq. You don’t need a twin disc for this power level in my opinion. The clutch is holding the power just fine in my setup. Driveabilty is good. First gear takes a little getting used to because it doesn’t slip like the OEM friction disc. There is some buzz but it’s minor. I can toss keys to wife and she can drive it no problems. I love the ACT setup, but it would not hold the power of the gen 2 3076. Do not get a puck clutch! You will hate driving your car around town.

Yes I also LOL'd at the used 6 puck clutch for sale. No way in hell. There are a couple guys in here running the SOS Hybrid 400 at the 600WHP level. Thats what I'm going to go with.

LHT use the Clutchmaster FX350 or 400 on all their S/C builds which is around 40 - 50!!!!

If anyone knows what is best it is LHT, send them a msg on Facebook and ask them.

there known for just installing the standard krafts works supercharger kit and running it on pump 93 octane. Not for high hp turbo builds running high octane fuel to support high boost.

what works for a 450whp pump fuel supercharger will not work for a 600+whp turbo E85 car.
