Default clutch replacement

I'm probably sure many of you guys are tired of my noobish question, but i just wanna make sure b4 i slap this turbo on aka moneypitt!

Well i'm replacing the clutch with the act street clutch package which includes HD pressure plate and oem street disc. I was wondering if i could just use the original flywheel or do i need to get a new one? Also if i were to use the original one do i need to have it resurfaced?

regards,

Tom

what are you talking about? people resurface flywheel b/c there is friction between the clutch and flywheel when engaged which creates friction on the flywheel that causes it to warp/crack overtime due to heat fatigue.

Yes have it resurfaced. You are going to be FI now and the AP1 flywheel is just fine for your application.

that is the exact set up i use and i love it. It feels almost like stock but grabs so much better. My clutch was never slipping so all i did was resurface the flywheel and its fine.

You will most likely need to resurface the flywheel..
