Congrats! Remember, you'll need to break in the clutch before you put it on the dyno. I'd suggest doing that first before installing the rest of the kit.

I also like to break in the belt so it doesn't slip on the dyno. A couple hundred miles' worth of driving prior to the tune does wonders.
Yea I plan on driving on the new clutch next week. Then the weekend after thanksgiving I am going to install the kit. So maybe another week for belt stretching and get tuned. Hope to be finished by 6 December. If I get to antsy I will take a few laps around 285 to stretch the belt.
why dont ya hit me up when your on 285 so we could do a few pulls!!

Where are you getting tuned? TopSpeed or Forged?
Forged is right across the street, but I don't know they seem a little expensive. I have tuned at mainstream in the past might go there. I have a buddy who is a good tuner I will probably let him tune it at mainstream. I will surely hit you up if (when) I need some help.

Congrats on the kit! I remember how excited I was when I opened all my boxes like that.
I plan on enjoying this for awhile. I will go with a smaller pulley when some more associated mods are complete.

I ordered the sos clutch this week and will order the stage two kit febuary (tax return), so I will be in the exact same boat as you. I'm also in Maryettah, though I sure as hell wont be on 285. 285 is the Devil. 75 for me and 85 can eat a fat one with their "hot lane". My bro had his red sti hatch tuned at Forged, so thats where I'm gonna go. My bro also said he was there talking with a dude, a fellow M.E. that drives a silver supercharged s2000. Torque Obsessed?

Yep, that was me. His STi made 360wtq on the dyno at TopSpeed (drool!) and we ran into each other again at the Forged open house. Cool guy.

He praised you likewise. Vladi went to GT for his ME, and I went to SPSU. I'm guessing you went to GT? Either way, I am looking forward to meeting you.

I chose unwisely and went to VT instead of GT. Their engineering program was ranked slightly higher back then, but I can tell you it sucked. All theory, no hands on, and a--hole professors. From what I've seen of GT's program, it's worlds better. Tell Vladi I said hi, and we'll have to catch up again next time Sharif offers free BBQ!

Sensible approach. The beauty of this setup is that all you have to do is change pulleys and it's capable of a LOT more power. You won't believe how fast it is once you've gone to a small pulley.

Crazy how small the S2000 world is I attend SPSU, but as an EET major.
