They said they could go more but they didnt want to. It is a very conservative tune They dont want to ruin the motor. Im am happy with this and that is all that matters.
Have you seen what built and unbuilt motors have been pushing around here lately..

either way 18 psi and 400 psi is too low

there are some youtube vids of people hittin 400 with 11-15

For the people who are going to post about the numbers being to low, could you just keep the comments to yourself! I'm only about 40hp off of what SOS is getting on their shop car and they have a 2.2l and they are using 100octane gas.

A stock motor with this kit and 8psi make 307 wheel. Every 1 pound of boost equals about 10hp so I'm pretty much were I should be.

Are you absolutely sure your belt is not slipping? Did you get a boost map? We aren't being critical of the kit. We are concerned because something doesn't seem right. You should definitely be making quite a bit more horsepower at these boost levels with that supercharger.

They tightened the belt a few times because it was slipping.

They have the idler on a screw that when you turn it counterclockwise it tightens the belt and you lock it by tightening the bolt through the idler.

Joe,

Great numbers!

What pulley did you end up using?? 3.4, 3.2, 3.0 ?? By the way its Jeff from SOS so if your wondering how i knew what pulley sizes you had!!

You need to get a header and ditch the Invidia. You'll pick up and extra 20 right there. We have seen good gains from a header, test pipe, and exhaust combos on the S by just swapping to different parts and keeping the boost at the same level. Just my .02 though.

Nice safe tune and im sure you'll be happy. Enjoy it!!

Jeff, He has a 70mm Invidia V4 (Q300) and a Skunk2 70mm Test pipe. He is alos running the 3.0 pulley. Sorry Joe Im stealing your fun. Ill shut up now!

Just for the record:
King tuning is fine. On my Compech Supercharged AP1 I put down 323 and 202 trq with only 8.6psi.

You enthusiasts who are worried about have super high numbers need to let it go. 400whp is more than enough power to completely enjoy an S2000. Traction in almost ever gear is ideal in my mind.

Find a new tuner, yes very great power, very great power band, but you didnt have your motor completely built to be "super conservative" I mean these motors are built for power from the factory and you one upped it and had the motor fully built..

But like the one guy said, we are mostly concerened there may be something else wrong or missing because the power level is low for the boost levels..

Its not a personal attack on you, just seems to be something wrong.

Rainh8r..

Why are you selling your ems, i just saw it in the classifieds?
