If you're concerned about "numbers", the track is where you prove them. Build car, tune correctly, enjoy.

Different mods/car/dyno you cant compare numbers unless both cars were run back to back same conditions. I wouldnt worry to much on the Numbers and like someone else has said that exhaust is killing you, you need a 3 inch exhaust I would do a full berk header back system it should free up around 30 to 40 extra HP.

I merely thought that since we both have Stage2 SOS SCs, i thought comparison would somehow be a mango-to-mango comparison

I see. Then my next step before upgrading to a smaller pulley is an upgraded exhaust system. Can a full 3" headerback system really free up 30-40whp?
Since I already have a 3" TP, can I settle with just upgrading everything that goes after the TP to 3"?

Yea you can just get there header and exhaust but I think the testpipe is built in. and I think it could be close with a proper tune. if you are doing a new pulley get there 3 inch do that with some race fuel you could see close to 500whp maybe.

You should be seeing 11-12psi with that 4" pulley on that 1200 blower. You sure its the 1200 and not 1220? At any rate, the first thing I ask when this situation comes up is boost verification, was the belt slipping. The belts are not easy to gauge proper tension, and even if not slipping on first initial install, they almost always do shortly after and need at least one follow up tightening after they stretch/break in.

There comes a point where you need to be concerned with numbers I.E. the situation he is in right now trying to figure out why. Thats like me throwing 30 psi of boost at motor, making 400whp and saying not to be concerned with the numbers.

Check the boost first. On a stock exhaust and cat i did 330whp with the 4.2" pulley (9psi) on a dyno dynamics that supposedly reads very low. The belts can easily slip if not tensioned properly or if theyre worn out.
