The 10k estimate is spot on. It always seems like you can get it done for 6K or less, but when it is all said and done you will be right at 10k. I bought a used kit for 4500 and still spent 10k when it was all over with tuning and other required parts.

Why not get a Kraftwerks kit good for 400-450whp off moddiction for $4,300 shipped or with tuned aem ems for $5400. Also on s2000 Classifieds on Facebook there is a brand new aem infinity with added harness for $1,400 or a aem v2 for I think $1,100 obo right now. Just make sure you shop it and check out all of your options before purchasing. That price is high and I don't see the benefit of purchasing that "bundle" when you can get a better one for much less.

If you went with a base kit (i.e., 6 psi), then staying within your $6k budget is definitely attainable.

It will cost you at least $10,000 if you do the labor your self.
Thing you will need

clutch with new oem throwout brearing/pilot bearing and at least an ap1 resurfaced flywheel $700
you will need a gauge pod and since you have aem you might as well get a serial gauge, a defi boost gauge and you need an inline wideband to wire into your ems ($700)
You will also need a , 4 bar map sensor, felex fuel sensor $250
a good flex fuel tune should be about $500-$1000
You can run your stock exhaust but you really should have at least a test pipe
It makes no point since you are buying the kit to not upgrade to the novi 1200 and to the larger heat ex changer.
I also recommend a adjustable fuel pressure regulator so if you run about of injector you can bump the pressure up a litter to compensate.

Your $2650 going with the kraftwerks kit would be around 8k total

You are missing a lot more that goes with it. The price for S2Kitt's kit is very good for what you get when compared to purchasing new for that power level (18psi) AND RELIABILITY. If I already didn't have a puddydiff stage II I'd be on that. $6k for kit, $1.5k for install, $500 for tune, option 1k for stage II diff, that's worth it IMO
