That's the water-cooled center housing doing it's job. The coolant is boiling causing the gurgling noises and siphoning in more coolant.

I would suggest a turbo timer even though it is water cooled.

I was thinking they may have sent you my map, but then I remembered you're not on AEM. Curious what your car will make compared to mine.
Your correct, Im on Kpro. Well you do have a larger turbo if I am not mistaken. But a larger turbo is not needed with goals under 550whp. Im thinking you may make more hp and have more potential for higher hp, but I would expect to start developing boost at a lower rpm amd have full spool quicker. I would also assume if we run similiar hp reguardless of psi, I would have more torque as I have the 2.2l crank.

Ill see if Mike will send me your dyno graph for comparison, with your approval of course ;-)

As far as I know King has not announced a dall dyno day. I will talk to Scott on Monday morning about it, and hope I do not work the projected day of the dyno day.

Turbos run a lot hotter then SC. Timer isn't a bad idea to protect the investment.

Dustin, I forget if you had your 1200 running at max rpm or not (aka 3-3.2") if you did I would be curious to know what your thoughts on the Turbo is in comparison. I realize there is going to be more mid range power because the turbo can produce full pressure in the mid range unlike a sc, but how about the pull at the upper range... full out, when ripping through the gears?

I was only running a 3.6 pulley at 412ish whp. I can only assume the car will die off or the "surge" will go away at the higher rpms. Whereas the blower kept increasing boost pressure

You don't need a turbo timer on a water cooled turbo. Defeats the purpose of having one.
