Default spacers

I have a v160 and 8.8 diff my drive shaft is bolted directly on the flanges without spacers. I have a huge vibrations issues i think they are coming from the drive shaft.Does anybody have pictures or information about these spacers? .

Excuse my ignorance, but how would a spacer on the driveshaft make a difference with vibration... and how could you add a spacer to the driveshaft without shortening the driveshaft? I've never heard of driveshaft spacers, only axle spacers. Are you thinking about axle spacers to fix the vibration on acceleration issue caused by pitting of our axle CV cups?

My driveshaft splits in two pieces. There are splines in the front that act like a piston so i can shorten an extend same. The chattering and vibration comes from the drivetrain. I hope that by ading these spacers will shorten the drive shaft and close the splines together. I hopee

It’s worth a shot, but I doubt your going to find any info on an off the shelf spacer for this aspect of custom work on this website. Id be calling up some more specialty diff shops, even 4x4 shops in your area which deal with such components regularly. All you need is probably ½”-1” spacer with the right bolt pattern and inner hole if it needs to clear the input lock nut on the diff, it may not in which case it could be a solid piece. Could probably have one made at a machine shop no prob out of aluminum. Id make sure that driveshaft is balanced right first, if you havent. Good Luck
