Did you used the aem updated coolant temp tables?

I got the aem v2 and the serial gauge and my 4th coolant bar comes on at 205F and the 5th at around 214F..

Previously before the temp update i also noticed these high temps...

Double check!

I did not. Are the coolant temp tables off for the aem v2? I thought this was the case only for the aem v1? Do u have a link? My 4th coolant bar come on at 220f.

My brothers turbo s2000 is running the aem v1 with the updated coolant table for the aem v1 and his car has the same problem as mine with the running hot when moving at high speeds. He has the mishimoto fan shroud and fan kit which we are in the process if removing for the spal extreme performance fans.

Yeah, I've seen some Mishimoto fans on a car someone brought to me last month to sort overheating issues - they're dire, they barely moved 1/3rd of the air that some decent ones the same size.

Gearbox is a UN5

Mishimoto fans are slim fans. Slim fans simply do not flow a lot of air and do not flow more than stock fans. This includes spals low profile and medium profiles fans.

You want to avoid running slim fans if you can.

Perhaps, but I replaced them with fans the same thickness...

I thought about the Fortin, but it's 50 quid vs 5000 quid per gearbox, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed with the gearchange at all, it's so slow and clunky compared to a Sadev or similar.
If I was going to the expense of a sequential I'd build an new 4wd car instead.
