Did you used the aem updated coolant temp tables?

I got the aem v2 and the serial gauge and my 4th coolant bar comes on at 205F and the 5th at around 214F..

Previously before the temp update i also noticed these high temps...

Double check!
I did not. Are the coolant temp tables off for the aem v2? I thought this was the case only for the aem v1? Do u have a link? My 4th coolant bar come on at 220f.

My brothers turbo s2000 is running the aem v1 with the updated coolant table for the aem v1 and his car has the same problem as mine with the running hot when moving at high speeds. He has the mishimoto fan shroud and fan kit which we are in the process if removing for the spal extreme performance fans.
Yes they are off!

If I change the coolant table to those setting will my coolant temps on my serial gauge read lower or higher? Or will this just make my coolent lights on my dash come on earlier?

That depends; from where does your serial gauge receive input? (ECU? Separate sensor?)

My aem serial gauge plugs right into the aem v2 ems and reads water gems with the stock coolant sensor.

I have higher engine temps but not Turbo I've got a SOS sc kit with larger H.E. I ordered the Mishimoto rad. and Shroud kit. The shroud kit has been back ordered
since July 25 and Mishimoto has NO ETA.

Well I start searching again for a higher volume fan set up.
do you have some part numbers, prices and extra parts needed.

I have notices the AEM2 and my engine temp gauge is all over the place. Sometimes I'll park at night for 1 to 2 hours come back to start and notice
the engine temp is MAXed out. its got to be wrong.

I use to have a over heating problem but these twin 13" kenlowe hp fans sorted it for me. These have twin speed so you can wire them in to have a extra boost a higher temps. Each fan at full speed flow 2025 cfm each. This is a old pic as its changed a few times

I have fitted a soft starter to the kenlowe fans, just testing it before tidying up the install, a little video of it controlling the start up time over a 5 second period so there shouldn't be a big voltage drop in the system.

I do I get and install this soft start. I need it because when the fans co e on it causes a huge power spike and almost stalls the car.
