The Spectacle's Turbo (Re)Build *Round 2*
WOW! i thought i had issues with my build, but you are way beyond my headaches. Love what you have done with the car and way to stay with it. The reward will definately be worth the journey.
Keep it coming!
Keep it coming!
glad to see your still at it though. i was all gung ho and going turbo, then a career change stopped all that. car still feels quick for what it is, but i want what you have!
keep at it, cant wait to see your high 11. 118 trap is no joke.

Wow that is funny that you had those rpm sync issues with the first dyno. I tuned on the same kind of dyno for 2 years and always had the same issue! The dyno tech guy kept telling me there was no way it was the dyno and my ecu datalogs were wrong about engine speed

The 4.10 has me going into 5th before the traps and it is hurting me. I guess I should have asked this before committing to it but can you hold 4th before passing the traps with the 3.91 gear?
i want to track with the 4.10 and get a true results other than relying on my butt dyno.
But after my last track incident (blowing 2nd gear) I dont have the pockets to find or rebuild a tranny right now. IFO is coming to town this sunday and would most likely give great track conditions for good testing though.

I wonder if it'd be safe to rev the stock motor to 9500-9600 rpms in just 4th gear alone to hold through the traps.. guess i'll just wait and see how the 4.10 feels for me on the track
ps. will this shop be able to reproduce your mani/dp setup for other people like me who may be interested as well? PM me if necessary

For the most part no. But in the higher gears depending on the weather, if you're trying to do some high mph pulls it may or may not get away from you. If you adjust the duty cycle accordingly it will hold fine. That is one the limits of the Hondata boost control - no PID setup. This is something AEM (I believe) has over Hondata in that department.
But for normal driving around town, no issues.

That's practically the whole car lmao
Are diffs are fine. Nothing will survive severe wheelhop. I'm only getting a 1.5+ from Puddy.
