Stand alone computer options
New to the forum, however, I have been lurking for years. Prev car was a 94 turbo Miata "R" with 385 RWHP where I built everything myself.

I would like to do something similar to the S2000. However, I would really like to avoid piggy back computers if possible or a reflash of the OEM computer. I understand they can be made to work. However, I prefer to do my own tuning, so a complete aftermarket computer is best, (been at this a while).
Other than a stand alone system like a TEC3, what is available for the S2K (2004)?
My hope is to fabricate the parts necessary this winter.
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome, you can make any standalone work with it, like a motec etc but most popular plug and play options are the AEM, Hondata Kpro(not completely P&P). I have run both, pros/cons of both that you can find here. All being said, since I swapped I am entirely happy with the KPro!
