Started rebuilding my comptech sc...
ok. here is the info i have compiled so far.
cliffnotes version.
1: rebuild by comptech is expensive. 800 or so. you also have no blower for howerver long shipping is.
2: blower is stupid easy to take apart and work on.
3: superchargerrebuilds.com sells the parts. the abec-7 kit (57k rpm) is what is in there stock. the rebuild kit is $450- but i have discussed a group buy option.
4: you can go to the abec-9 kit which will hold the higher rpms better.
i will post up pics and info for the bearings tomorrow.
really, i think this is going to be easier than the actual blower install, which i did in 8 hours with one broken hand, haha.

derek, pm me, i have some info for you, and a few ideas.
pointy. dont make the mistake of placing on your lap, like me.

housing minus input shaft.

self-explanatory, not too important.

input shaft with big bearings.

letters etched to the inside of the housing.

the only bearing with letters on it, and coincidently the one that sounds like an old skateboard.

Wow this is perfect! I've been debating on rebuilding my blower myself as well. Thanks for posting the greeat info John!
Comptech went out of business and then came back, but they've been giving me the run around on getting mine repaired through warranty. I've only ~5000 miles on my blower, but it's leaking oil inside of it. It's all over the place when you remove the tube between the air filter and blower.
I think I read somewhere that the stock version for the S2000 is the apec-5 (47K)version which is signficantly cheaper ($250). But I think you implied that they were out of stock of that one at superchargerrebuilds.com. Also I called Paxton about a re-build and they want $425 for a "minor" repair.
Let me know what you find out about a group buy, I might be interested!

thats the link i mentioned earlier.
they sell a rebuild kit for the novi1000, but im not sure of how it is priced yet, i cant find much info on what bearings are in the blower.

you can go to the abec-9 kit which will hold the higher rpms and smaller pulleys better.
