I ran a 6.75/3.8" combo for a while and I'm still able to change belts without removing pulleys. That put me at 17.5 psi air to air setup and 18psi air to water. Oh and I'm now selling my 3.8" and now have a 3.6" which maxes out the blower at just under 8500rpm.

hope the 8 rib treats you well I would but then my cold air intake wouldn't fit unless I built a custom radiator and I am enjoying driving it with 17 psi plus not having belt slip issues for now. Will see how it is after the bmt this fall.

6.75 / 3.8 is almost the equivalent to my current 6.5/3.6 set up, I was also seeing around 17.5 with my FMIC.

Cheers s2kmanic - i've decided to go the whole hog and get a 7.5 / 4.3" combo with the custom waterpump pulley all from ASP. This should also give me an extra 1.5psi which is more than enough on 10.7 compression!

Fingers crossed guys.

Just went out and got a dayco 39.3" belt for my 3.0. Went from 17.5-18 to 18.5/19

That's awesome! Is that consistent? My pulleys have just been made by asp, they are being shipped over now.

yep few days later still seeing same levels. Im really close to getting a Meth kit, and spraying pre blower for lower IATs, thats the ONLY thing that sucks is how hot this sucker gets.

I did some research, and the benefits to spray PRE blower is HUGE! Can even ADD CFM and boost levels. makes the compressor more efficient.

I'm spraying 100% meth pre-tb! haha we've gone a different way

The tuner wasn't reporting any issues with my IAT's, my front mount must be doing its job, but you're right, the blower can get hot.

I believe the issue with spraying there is that the water can 'pool' in the piping.

I'm holding 18 psi with the 6 rib with idler pulley now I just need more methanol so I don't get knock on the top end. [attachment=99377:14489044_10157491157135716_780444 720_o.jpg]

haha that's awesome, that's the only reason I went Meth as I my tuner said he ran out of timing when he was approaching 16-17psi. The Meth has given him loads of room now and 500whp should be in sight. It was 460whp with 16/17psi and the slipping belt.

I'm a little worried still about the meth failing, I'm trying to see he can utilise the knock sensor to pull timing if it detects knock.

Also bought a MAC solenoid to dump the BOV's if the meth controller detects an issue with the pump.
