After BMT fall tour was over and I checked the car over I pulled the coil packs and found I had oil in 3 of the tubes so I replaced the seals which where not cracked nut very soft dried the coil packs checked plugs and put it back together. Could the coils be bad? I also have started having some idle issues where it will go full rich then full lean or die . I seemed to get that tuned out with idle control injector scaling and fuel trim adjustment but all this at the same time seems odd gonna swap coils and then o2sensor see of either make a difference.
Oil contamination in the combustion chamber will cause the afr to go lean/rich if you have 02 feedback on as you have another element introduced displacing fuel and ecu is correcting for that. I assume if your getting oil in the combustion chamber, that it is also getting on the 02 sensor and causing issue there as well, although it would have to be quite a bit to get to that point. IId figure out where the oil is coming from and solve that before replacing sensors and coil packs, or you may be doing it 2x. The fact that oil was on the coil packs tells me that it is tube seals, and not something internal like valve seals or rings. So its possible I think that the oil contamination could effect coil spark/arcing in the tubes and not getting 100% to the spark plugs.

Mine leaked, just replaced along with a new VC seal too, replace if they are leaking!

Coils are going out swapped in some high mileage coils and problem got worse I had the plug seals start leaking.replaced them but it didn't help. Car isn't burning oil o2 sensor had 40k miles on it that fixed the wild fluctuations in afr now I need a new set of coils .

I also replaced the o2 wideband sensor which helped with the idle issue. I double checked this by running my no o2 feedback map as well as my summer tune before returning to my winter tune just to make sure I didn't scale something wrong. I think the topend breakup is coil related because with the old coils anything more than 4psi boost it would break up with the original coils with 90k miles it revs out 18.5 psi on a 70 degree day but if my tai's go below 70f it wont rev out. My guess is with the extra air density and fuel there just isn't enough voltage to jump the gap that is .24 right now. Also this car was comptech from dealer so these coils have been working hard there whole lives 30k of those with boost of 13-19 psi. I guess some 04 coils will work or is there another Honda coil that would work better?

Did you try gaping them down to say .20 or so? Yes the added fuel for winter tune can cause spark blow out if your near the threashold already.

I'm running NGK iridium 7s . I'll try gapping down today I ran it and hit 19 psi in 72degree weather but I'm out of belt adjustment so I'll need to mod the tensioner to get more ark and more belt warp. Got a set of coils coming so will see if I need the smaller gap . On the multi port I am going with 125cc injectors from prometh they seem to have the best spray pattern and I'll leave the aem system in place as the multi port will come on at 10psi so most of the time it will be the aem pre TB for cooling.

Question on the sos novi 1200 with a 3.4 and 6in crank =16psi a 8000rpm 18 psi around 8500?

Hey just thought id mention, its recommended to run one step colder heat range plug. So would be an 8. The NGK #2668 is a popular tried and true option for FI. You don't want issues with pre ignition. colder plug gives you a margin of safety with the higher combustion temps your seeing. I suppose E85 or water/meth injection could negate some of this, but just thought id bring to your attention if you weren't aware. Id rather air on the side of caution, especially if there is no downside. Just make sure the plugs are gapped appropriately
