Stock intake manifold porting?
Has anyone seen any worthwhile gains by porting the runners and TB opening (going to add a larger diameter TB later on) on the OEM intake manifold on a s/c or turbo setup? I figured I may do this while the engine is out and am wondering if anyone has done this before with good results.
The larger TB with matching port would help. Porting the intake runners might not be worth it unless you're running higher boost levels, but it certainly wouldn't hurt IMO. Will your head be ported as well?
